Meshell Ndegeocello is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, bassist, and vocalist. Her music incorporates a wide variety of influences, including funk, soul, jazz, hip hop, reggae and rock.  She has received significant critical acclaim throughout her career, and has had ten career Grammy Award nominations. She has been credited for having "sparked the neo-soul movement.”

Indigo Girls

Indigo Girls are an American folk rock music duo consisting of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers. Emily Saliers

Thirty years into one of the most storied careers in popular music, Emily Saliers decided to record her debut album. Jonathan Coulton

Affectionately known as JoCo to his fans, is a musician best known for the geeky subject matter of many of his songs and the nontraditional licensing and distribution of his music and apple iPhone. His most prominent accomplishments include his Thing a Week project and his songs "Code Monkey", "Still Alive", "Skullcrusher Mountain", and "The Future Soon". Jonathan is largely associated with the folk rock genre, though he occasionally experiments with other styles. Jonathan's primary instrument is the guitar, but he also plays a number of other instruments, including synthesizers, banjo, ukulele, and zendrum live and in-studio.

Brendan Benson

Brendan Benson is a Michigan-born songwriter who resides on the rock end of the power pop scale. He debuted in 1996 with One Mississippi at the age of 25. Jason Falkner of Jellyfish and The Grays co-wrote and produced the first version of the record which was rejected by the label so Brendan went back into the studio with Ethan Johns. The album received critical acclaim and is often cited by musicians as an influence.

One Mississippi was later reissued digitally and included six original four-track demos. These songs were previously released on Brendan’s Readymade Records, as the limited edition vinyl-only Wellfed Boy EP.

Having parted ways with Virgin, Brendan released fan favorite Lapalco (2002) on Isaac Green’s Startime International. He toured worldwide behind the release. Brendan returned to the majors in 2005 with The Alternative to Love (v2). With “What I’m Looking For” featured in a commercial, Brendan’s fan base expanded. The record included “Cold Hands (Warm Heart), which has become a cult classic.

Brendan joined Jack White in forming the Raconteurs. The group released the albums Broken Boy Soldiers(2006) and Consolers of the Lonely (2008), and scored a number one single with "Steady as She Goes," on the modern rock charts. He also served as a producer on the albums which went on to international accolades, among which are:

Broken Boy Soldiers - Certified Gold, 2006 Mojo Magazine Album of the Year, 2007 Brit Award International Break-Through Artist Nominee, 2007 Grammy Rock Performance Nominee; Consolers of the Lonely - Certified Gold, 2009 CMA Musical Event Nominee ("Old Enough"), 2009 Grammy Best Rock Album Nominee.

Brendan returned to his solo career in 2009 with My Old Familiar Friend, his fourth album, on ATO Records. The album debuted at No. 110 on the Billboard Top 200 boosted by the single “A Whole Lot Better.” In 2012, Brendan released What Kind of World. Featuring the single "Bad for Me," Brendan’s fantasy label Readymade Records became a reality. It peaked at No. 7 on the UK Indie Album chart the week of release.

Following the birth of his first child, Brendan moved away from his own recording to focus on producing music for Robyn Hitchcock, Leigh Nash, Young The Giant, Eric Burdon and others, as well as writing with Jake Bugg, Ashley Monroe, Nick Lowe, The Kooks and more. The Raconteurs “Many Shades of Black” was recorded by Adele.

In 2013, while awaiting the birth of his second child, Brendan released You Were Right.
